Sue, I have been wondering what happened to that mare. I am happy to hear that she has a good home and a great career! What happened to her foal;? do you still have him?
So sorry to hear about Kez, I remember how you went through all that trauma with his dam dying, you did the very best you could for him.
Kathleen has a PMU fjord mare that I had rescued a few
years back. She could be a full fjord but is likely a cross. Kathleen said that mare, and her love for her, kept her alive, while she was in a coma she dreamed of riding this mare and tells very detailed stories of her dreams. As soon as she was home it was to the barn to learn how to cope with her amputations and still ride and care for her horse.
