Apparently she had quite a wreck on Tuesday. The email below was posted today on the N. Calif. Driving List about Linda. We need to keep her in our thoughts and prayers, and if you want to send a note or card, her address follows below...

She either jumped from the carriage or she was thrown out, hitting her head on her own horse trailer. Luckily, she's a devout helmet wearing driver. The horse continued to run, but finally stopped near the house. Linda was unconscious so the people present phoned 911. She was air lifted to a hospital in Sacramento where it was determined that she had a severe concussion, bruised ribs and a cracked vertebra in her neck. I spoke to her briefly this afternoon and she's physically sore but the pain medication is keeping her somewhat comfortable. Her close friend, Anita, flew down from Seattle to be with her so she has constant support. It's likely that she'll be in the hospital for quite some time and then she may need to hire a caretaker when she's able to return home. Scary business!
