A stallion should NEVER be considered a pet and I agree that any horse who hasn't been handled in many years is not a good place for anyone but a well experience horseperson to start. I suggest if she gets this horse, she better make sure her insurance is in place otherwise, she will possibly see some law suits and loose her farm. If she is renting, I would go so far as to notify the landlord. It's just not worth it. Free is never free.
