Flex is now Apache project. U don't know the Apache Foundation. It is the
foundation that delivered first http server. Moreover the most popular
frameworks and compilation tools in java community are from Apache. Ant,
Maven, JMeter, Struts, Apache Tomcat etc.

so don't underestimate the apache. Adobe has thought more than us before
making the comments and handing his most of revenue generating framework to
apache.
