I'll second ( or third) that. I've played with the NR settings several times,
after reading the engineers' descriptions of taps and leaks and all the rest.
But the "Bret Settings" have added a new effective NR functionality to the
radio. I find that NB2 kills my noise on 15M, and selective use of NR helped
in several instances last night. I swear that the NR buttons on some other
radios function by merely turning down the treble. Jim KJ2P
