I'll second ( or third) that. I've played with the NR settings several times, after reading the engineers' descriptions of taps and leaks and all the rest. But the "Bret Settings" have added a new effective NR functionality to the radio. I find that NB2 kills my noise on 15M, and selective use of NR helped in several instances last night. I swear that the NR buttons on some other radios function by merely turning down the treble. Jim KJ2P

Subject: [FlexEdge] Suggested NR Settings

Bret,
Thank you for the suggested settings of the NR function. I tried them and found that they are very effective on the type of noise that has been hampering me for several years. I had not tried the lower values that you put forth and was pleasantly surprised by the results. It is the openness of the Flex owners and FlexRadio Systems that make the difference in the radios !!!
Thanks again for your knowledge.
