To Tim, or someone at Flex I have on order a Flex 6700 and am planning for what I believe will be necessary in the order of external Antenna switching.
I have designed and am in the process of building an Antenna Matrix which will allow for any of 5 Antennas to be connected to either of the 2 SCU's. There will be Pic Processor control which will stop any invalid connection, Like more than 2 Antennas selected or more than one connected to the same SCU. My External Antenna Tuner, Amp, and Power Master unit can be put in line with either of the SCU's. or not used at all. In the process I started thinking about the Internal ATU..... Can it be used with either SCU ??? Will it keep settings if I were to switch transmitt from one SCU to the other on different Bands ? Also I assume the 6500 only has one SO239 connector on its SCU on the rear.... Will we be able to see a Manual some time before the first units start shipping in Q4 ??
