I recently purchased and installed a 3 element stepp ir antenna. A fantastic improvement on my previous Cushcraft A3. However now I have a flex6700 which should be able to adjust the Steppir as I change Band and frequency. The new antenna came with two "S12"cables which I presume are to directly connect the 6700 to the Steppir controller. Can anyone confirm that this is a direct connection or do I need to go through another device such as a computer serial port? Any advice or experience would be very welcome. I also have a flex 3000 can I use the same cable or do I need a different one?
