When I first turn on my Flex and press the "On" button in the console, it
will start receiving fine for a second or two and then the receive will drop
out. I can still hear some background static, but no signals. I usually
have to cycle on/off 1 to 5 times before the receive will "stay" on. After
this, the rig will always be fine and not drop out while in use. Maybe once
or twice in 3 months, it has dropped receive after transmitting. Tapping
the MOX on and off restored the receive.

I've tried starting the computer first and the sdr first and that doesn't
seem to make any difference.

Does this happen to anyone else? I'm thinking it might be a symptom of my
3.3v parallel port barely flipping a relay. But if that were the case, it
seems odd that it will ALWAYS receive for a second or two at least when I
first turn it on and works fine after it has been on. And I'm sure other
people with 3.3v would be having problems too. Any thoughts? No other
problems. Transmits and receives fine otherwise. Power supply holds 13.8v
fine.

So far, it's really not a big deal to me as long as it works ok after the
cycling. More curious than anything else.

Thanks & 73',
Jeff/KA5MIR
