Safe Mode 1 is still the recommended operation mode for the new driver and is 
the default when the driver is loaded.  If you can successfully run in normal 
mode, then by all means do so.

I ran the test in the driver and with everything I could think of running, 
latency never ran over 200us. It recommended normal mode which because of 
problems with the previous driver, I chose not to use. So, should I be using 
the new driver in normal mode then?
