I don't understand "directly" interfacing from the 5k box to Skimmer.
Skimmer needs CAT information in order to control frequency display. If
PowerSDR is not running, where does that info come from?

Also, doesn't the audio buffer coming in from the Flex have  header info?
That would introduce at least a small error in decode, wouldn't it?

Finally, for RX2 users, the best way to get around all this is to use
Skimmer in SoftRock (NOT SoftRock-IF) mode. That way you can decode not just
24khz, but the whole bandwidth!

I posted instructions for doing that on this reflector last week.
