As an interm solution, while waiting on a possible tuning pulser feature to
be added, you could use an audio pulse sound file played back while
transmitting in SSB mode to perform the same function. I use a small
software package called Test Tone Generator, setup to generate a 200Hz sine
wave pulsed at .07s per tone burst. I interface this with VAC, and off I go
pulsing the Amp. It has worked great for pulse tuning my Alpha. Test Tone
Generator does cost a little, but you may be able to find a free alternative
software package that could do the same thing, or even create such a pulsed
audio sound file yourself for play back. Just a thought.

After Tim told me about the Feature Request web gadget I logged in and
saw that two others had made essentially the same request.
Sometimes there is comfort in redundancy... ;-)

The Ameritron gadget will work fine in the interim, though. Thanks!
