That will work as well, 50WPM CW keying macro; sorry Tim, I did not read
that far down the email thread. The original reason why I have and use Test
Tone Generator was due to an older analog non-SDR radio that I had. So I
just kept on using it when I made the switch to exclusively using a
Flexradio; old habits die hard ;-)

Nothing. That is what I proposed earlier, but using the CWX form. Just set
up a macro with a bunch of fives and the keying speed as fast as you want
it.

For a tuning pulser, what's wrong/write with 50wpm dits in CW mode?

As an interm solution, while waiting on a possible tuning pulser feature to
be added, you could use an audio pulse sound file played back while
transmitting in SSB mode to perform the same function. I use a small
software package called Test Tone Generator, setup to generate a 200Hz sine
wave pulsed at .07s per tone burst. I interface this with VAC, and off I go
pulsing the Amp. It has worked great for pulse tuning my Alpha. Test Tone
Generator does cost a little, but you may be able to find a free alternative
software package that could do the same thing, or even create such a pulsed
audio sound file yourself for play back. Just a thought.

After Tim told me about the Feature Request web gadget I logged in and saw
that two others had made essentially the same request.
Sometimes there is comfort in redundancy... ;-)

The Ameritron gadget will work fine in the interim, though. Thanks!
