Earl,

The drivers ARE signed starting with version 3.4.0.5254. There is something
wrong with your PC where after the drivers are installed they appear to the OS
as being unsigned.

To verify this, right click on C:\windows\system32\drivers\FlexRadio.sys and
select Properties.

1.) Select the digital signatures tab to view the signature list. Select the
TC Applied Technology signature and click Details. It will tell you the
signature is OK.

You can also check the other two drivers that start with FlexRadio*.sys. They
are signed too.

Hi Dudley,

Well that didn't appear to work. I ran the install with administration
privilages and still won't work properly..

So I investigated further and It appears that I have to push f8 on every boot
up.. Because the drivers are not signed, my system won't allow them unless I
disable driver signature enforcement on every boot up.

Something told me that the firewire drivers were signed now for 64 bit, but
maybe not. However, we were able to get it to work without f8 previous to my
restore of the Gateway FX system.

Any further ideas?

Earl,

The next time you install, be sure to reboot before re-installing, and when
you re-install be sure to right click on the executable and "Run
as Administrator" for the install.. See if that corrects the issue.

Dudley

to re-install the 64bit firewire drivers and I can get the radio to work,
however, every now and then (seems like after system reboots) when I turn on
the radio, I hear the driver sounding 3 quick beeps to the speakers and then of
course the firewire doesn't connect to the radio.
