Have you tried Firefox instead of IE or Chrome??

Also, is it your network software/drivers causing the dpc .. when going on the internet.. not the actual browser software..???

Hi Leon:

Neal spent some time with me going over a list of services that can be
stopped and disabled. Also we turned off most of the Aero "eye candy" (fade
in/our, shadows, etc.) but the real culprit, in my case, was the anti-virus
software. I was seeing the latency steady in the 140usec to 400usec range
until I opened IE or Chrome and surfed the web. Then it would jump to
3000usec - 8000usec.

I don't have my F5KA set up yet - was just putting the PC together. My
original plan was to run XP/pro but the PC was too new and I couldn't get XP
to install - blue-screen-of-death (BSOD) and no drivers.

73 and good luck
Sheldon
