Indeed, I noticed that it locked up when accesing the internet or mail program. The latency is around 2000 and this is normal from before I ade the changes. Is there a way to change the IRQ on the network card? I would like to access the Internet on this computer. Yes, I am using RJ45

When the device manager window appears, go to the views menu at the top of the window and select View by Connection. When this display appears, click on the plus sign by the IRQ line, When the list of devices, sorted by the interrupt (IRQ) appears, look for your firewire card. To the left of it will be a number which is the interrupt number assigned to your fiirewire card. Tell us what other devices have the same number besides them as your firewire card.
