I bought a set of the Bose C2's on recommendation from this list and was fairly disappointed. Very "bassy", no real high end, kind of muddy overall. I can see why they would be lacking for the high quality communications type audio Flex touts. Bose probably intends you to buy the whole "system" which includes some HF units. They're also targeted at demographics who've become use to MP3 rather than real audio.
