I did that. I still have intermittant power out, two-three, sometimes
more after keying out before any power shows up on the output. Same
problem I sent it back to Flex because of. It worked for 3-4 weeks
after I got it back "could not duplicate" and then started the same
thing again. I jumped at the chance to load 1.18.5, but it did not
solve the problem. I notice that several others have the same problem
as I do. I ran for several days not using the ATU, but problem
persisted. Tried moving the Drive slider, but problem persisted.
deleted nearly all running apps, but problem persisted. Defragged hard
drive, but problem persisted. I don't get it. It is very frustrating
and it needs to be either explained or fixed. I am having to use this
FT-857D and wish I could use my new shiny Flex-5000A, cuz it ain;t big
enough or heavy enough to serve as a boat-anchor. I don't need just a
receiver. I need the transmitter to work also. Maybe I need Neal to
build me a brand new computer. Who knows.???????
