I think FlexRadio's answer to all this is the "brick wall" filters you already have (at no additional charge, by the way) built into PowerSDR. Turn up the DSP buffer and audio sample buffers to maximum, and there is no filter implemented with electrical components that can touch them, (at least none that you could afford.)
