I always knew when I purchased my SDR1000 that I was getting something special. The gent with the Yaesu FT5000 made those tuning units sound like the best thing since sliced bread! Turn up the DSP buffer and audio sample buffers to maximum, and there is no filter implemented with electrical components that can touch them, (at least none that you could afford.)
