I want to connect a linear amp (AL-82) and a MFJ-998 automatic antenna tuner. I am running a flex 5K with the flex tuner installed. I want to be sure that I connect everything properly so that my equipment is not damaged. I am not sure how to deselect the internal ATU in order to use the external automatic tuner. Simplely unchecking the Use TUN check box on the ATU tab dosen't do the job. I have looked through the knowledge center for information but didn’t find what I needed. Any guidance you can provide on how to connect this equipment will be appreciated.
