I am with you! There is so much difference between DX and contesting. In
the case of DX you have a million guys piled up calling one guy and with
contesting you have a million guys piled up calling each other. No
similarity at all. And of course they will have even less similarity on 60m
when everyone is using fixed 2.7kHz-wide channels.
