Thanks for the info Don. I didn’t realize they were discontinuing the 5000. I guess the fully loaded 5000 and the 6500 is not that much difference in price. The 5000 is a great radio and some very good buys on the used market. 73s Jim K4JAF

I have been with all the Flex people today for over an hour
at the Dayton Himation today.

I can assure you that there are no more 5000's.  Not going to make
ANY more.  They will be keeping the 1500 and 3000.  That is factual
and you can take it to the bank.
