I haven't had time to investigate closely, but my perception is that
JSBSim took a very big hit since it began to export all it's internal
state via the property system.

There's been a lot of 'view' changes recently and presumably changes
to the structure of how the math is worked out.  It might be worth
another round of profiling ...
