I've been compiling OSG SVN on Etch for months now. In fact I have two
PeeCee platforms at least for testing, one Etch AMD64 with NVidia's
BLOB drivers and one FreeBSD/i386 with XOrg/DRI r200 (XOrg 7.2 since
friday). Both work fine - although the Radeon 9200 board is not
terribly fast ....
