I am one of those developers who have the traffic manager turned off. I have
taken the trouble sometime ago to inform Durk directly, so he is well aware
of this bug. Along with the one which causes AITankers to move at warp speed
factor 2.

I would like to say that the recent changes have fixed it, and some short
tests seem to indicate that is so, except that fg seems now to crash on
reset instead of shortly after start. AIAircraft also disappear, apparently
after takeoff. I can't say if this is a new bug - it's the first time I've
got this far. Tankers are still at warp speed.

But that is not really the point. We have some code which is intended to
cause fg to exit, without an error message, and which is turned on by
default. During testing some new code, it took me quite some (wasted) time
and effort to establish that it wasn't my new code that was at fault. This
is quite unacceptable. And I don't care how this situation is rectified,
just so long as there is no repeat.

What were we saying about incompletely tested and poorly reviewed code
getting into cvs ... ?
