The topic is old ... the mail is old....

Since i tried to understand, why we don't get the same quality with the 
existing xml process, which is supposed to be enough ( according to vivian) 
than we have with the OSG script, but i can't retain me to answer:

that depends on, where could be, and, what is "the ugly hack" .

To me the answer is only because we don't translate with xml every features 
which are available within OSG script.
I promise to prepare a example to show that difference.
I did it sometime ago (with Catalina), i will do it again.

Or my my brain low..power is very low, and i must get out of any model 
development   :)
