Relicensing could kill at one fell swoop the following statement:

"Purchase FlightProSim now and you will always receive 100% FREE Updates / 
Upgrades.Imagine playing the latest version of FlightProSim in 10 years 
time, all for less than a cup of coffee per year..."

Relicensing seems to be a good idea if the present license (or it's 
potential to be misinterpreted) is resulting in unhappiness for the 
contributors, or worse still, affecting the growth and development of FG, as 
seems to be the case currently. The only alternative (other than  passive 
acceptance of a situation which is clearly unsatisfactory) is to fully 
enforce the terms of the GPL, or at least test if they are adequate in law 
to prevent this sort of thing, whether that's just by taking expert legal 
advice or pursuing an actual court case.
