You've described v1.0+ features, IMHO. This has already been discussed in the -devel group, IIRC. In my opinion, in comparison to other simulations, and based on what Flightgear (and JSBSim, for that matter, as well as YASim, etc.) can do and has already done, it's been at v1.0+ quality for a while. There just comes a time when you have to tidy up some things and just do it. Flightgear will be continuously improved, as will it's constituent parts. How do you decide what's v1.0? I think that's already been decided.
