I was just about to start talking about the pilot's view from a glider
cockpit...
Of course since in a glider you sit way up front with no engine obstructing 
the view the ground is almost always clearly visible in your travel
direction.

And of course in a real powered aircraft you can't very well make the engine
and fuselage transparent either, so if a Cessna is like this in real life I
realize that this is what it will be if the simulation is any good too.
I'll just have to nosedip now and then to see what is close on the ground.

I gave up on the getting started doc when it clearly did not have correct 
instructions on the joystick configuration figuring it was all Linux stuff 
in there...
Maybe I should start reading it again, but I don't really like all these
linux commands inserted everywhere, which I cannot use on Windows....

I found this list, though, and my joystick problems were solved quite
quickly.
