While there are lots of Windows users of FlightGear a large proportion of the development happens on Linux and other Unix like machines and a large part of user community is running on Unix like OSes. There are web sites that have Unix to Windows/DOS command comparisons for users who are moving between these environments which you might find useful. It would be better if the manual had both sets of commands and perhaps some Windows user(s) could spend some time to add this to the manual. In the long run this would make things easier for new Windows users.
