Hm... That is a good point. I was thinking about the framwork, and the appropriateness of the gears in that context, but Infusion is more than just a javascript framework - it's a javascript framework geared toward building user interfaces. With that thought, maybe the puzzle- piece metaphor of the first set of logos is better.
With that in mind, I'm looking at the first set of logos again, and here are my thoughts on those:
- I prefer the first one, with the rounder edges. Gentler, more approachable.
- I think the space between the words and the image should be smaller. - I repeat that I think the font used for "infusion" is too skinny. Antranig wrote:

I disagree with this one. Puzzle pieces are not symmetrical, and our components are all different. I think a non-symmetrical shape is perfectly appropriate here. The orange shape fits just fine with the pattern of the whole.
