This is very good, reminds me of the work of a french artist (Michel Aubry)
who has collected afghan carpets with war iconography. These were made
during the soviet occupation of afghanistan as souvenirs for the red army
soldiers.
They were exhibited several times before, and right now in the Moulin de
Ventabren, the art center founded by Julien Blaine, the well known poet.
Anyhow, he also works for years around the design of war clothes.
