Stephanie,
Check that the date that is displaying the same date is actually
from the relationship for the portal. If your relationships have
similar names, it is easy to grab a wrong field.
Another option: the problem date field is not a global by any
chance? That would produce the same results in all rows of the
portal.

Is the field a related field (the same as the portal
relationship) or is it
a field from the parent. If it is a field from the parent and
just *showing*
in the portal, changing it in one row, will change it in every row.
