1) The "canned" export as Excel may not work if Excel does not understand
"related fields" and "repeating fields". What do you want the data to
actually look like on the other side? It would have to be "flattened",
right? :)

2) are you trying to export from Mr. Jones' record or are you trying to
export from the related classes? What you export may be very different
depending on your perspective.

3) yes, repeats in related portals do not export except the first one. See
help topic:
"Contents > Saving, importing, and exporting data > Exporting data from
FileMaker Pro > Exporting repeating field data"

Could these "repeating" fields actually be one field using a calculation,
for example to gather all the repeats? That would export just fine as one
field (even related).
