Bill,
        for anything even close to that, we draw or implement those in
AutoCAD or our RF simulation tools. Then we import (usually through Gerber,
possibly DXF import) into the PCB database. I haven't heard nor know of any
better manner to implement it in Protel.
        For a continuous spiral I would not even have high hopes of using
these methods because I don't believe that Protel would have any means of
interpreting this structure into it's own database structure. Fortunately I
have never had to find out yet, the closest our engineers have come to
making me try this is a rectangular spiral (simple as straight lines).
