If I needed to make a spiral and I had the formulas for it, I'd generate a 
list of coordinates for an approximation to the spiral, so many degrees per 
segment, using a spreadsheet and then massage those coordinates into 
gerber, which is really simple to write, using a word processor, and then I 
would import the gerber. I've made RF patterns from coordinates, but they 
were simpler than spirals.

A simple spiral, of course, is one where the radius increases linearly with 
the rotation angle, which is really easy to calculate; such a spiral will 
have a constant trace spacing.

If I was going to do this more than a couple of times, I'd be tempted to 
write a utility to do it.
