well , im a new user of a fox board and i ve try to start an example of acmesystems about serial comunication . Now my qeustions are this :
1 How i can do for start the serial_test automaticaly at the boot of fox ? 2 I ve noted that in mnt dir are there 4 subdir ( 1 2 3 flash )and i ve try to move here the serial_test.out for don't lose the program after that i disconnect the power supply . My question is : is correct this ? Is thare another way for save permanently the prog in the fox ? what are the 4 subdir ( 1 2 3 FLASH ) ? 3. I need to use gdb for eventually debug some progs that are running in the fox . How i can run it ? ive fedora 6 with ddd a graphical interface of gdb and i need to know a procedure to config gdb for comunicate with the fox . I must insert interrupt or watch directly in my serial_test code before to launch gdb on my fedora ? I ve read that i must start gdb server on the fox is it correct ? im newer in linux and fox develop and im grateful to anyone that can help me Emiliano
