I sent an email to Blaine, but he hasn't responded. Vasiliy, the one who brought it up last year said he didn't finish his work either and wouldn't have time to, though he did point me to his repository at https://github.com/vkevroletin/freepascal/tree/closures-via-interfaces I don't want to step on toes, especially since we've already benefited significantly from the team's work as a whole, but I would really like to get this feature in.
