Hi Scott,

Jason Sanders at BAMPFA's Film Library & Study Center always encourages me
to "drop by sometime" and today I did; he wasn't in! But Miriam
Campos-Quinn was and she pulled two folders of Frampton clippings for me. I
can tell you that in every entry for *Summer Solstice*–in screenings
worldwide, in the price list ($980 in 1978), on Frampton's own CV, in the
authoritative *Resource Guide: Bibliography and Filmography* compiled by
Michael Zryd and Robert A. Haller for the 1989 International Film
Congress–the run time is given at 32 minutes. Most of the filmographies
state whether Frampton's films are sound or silent but none of them mention
f.p.s. which makes me think they are all expected to be shown at sound
speed.

Mike Zryd seems to be a/the foremost expert on Frampton and he's posted to
Frameworks in the past; why not reach out to him? [email protected]
