You get my public key from:

you can then check that the signed message I sent was signed with my
secret key thus confirming that I was the originator of the message
and it hasn't been tampered with (the sig's a hash).

I didn't send you a key, I sent you a message with a pgp signature.

BTW, questions about pgp/gpg, or anything else not strictly concerning
FreeBSD, shouldn't be addressed to the list as it's pretty off-topic.

Feel free to contact me off list although there are better resources
on the 'net than me, I am far from an expert in anything in
particular.
