I don't think you can build a kernel without INET, actually.


FYI, I tried that the other day. All it took was to comment out one or two lines of code (sorry, don't recall the details at the moment). I'm not sure how functional the kernel was, however, since I only tried to boot it until it got to the mountroot prompt.
