On the server side, CPU never goes up to 3%What does the CPU utilization look like on each machine ?
On the client side, I don't know since I don't have top compiled on Windows (to able to execute it in X). But the computer is really fast.
How much of that is the SSH process ?
sshd is about 1% average, and never goes more than 2.1%
I'm a newbie so I don't really know how to monitor this. If you could point me on resources to read, I would be glad, or I'll do it on freebsd-newbies.How many bytes per second is traveling across the interface when you're playing your game ?
If SSH isn't eating a lot of your CPU because not a whole lot of data is being transferred, you should maybe look elsewhere for the bottleneck. Try a different color depth - maybe 16bpp or even 8bpp would speed things up.
It seems that ssh has plenty of time to do it stuff. Thanks, Raphael To Unsubscribe: send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
