EDT = Eastern Daylight Time timezone
not to be confused with
EST = Eastern Standard Time timezone
not to be confused with
DST = daylight savings time, not a timezone, never shown on a computer.

Your system correctly switched to daylight savings time, as verified
by the EDT timezone indicator. Most likely the clock was already an
hour slow before the time change.
