I have no objections, unless Java 1.6 proves to be unavailable for some 
supported platform (you never know).

I would favour calling the next major release 0.11.0. In the near-term 
future, I intend to improve various map graphics by using alpha-blending 
and auto-generated tiles. I also intend to work on map loading and 
importing, as well as improving the map editor and the map generator.

Of course, there are various model clean-ups on the back-burner, and 
removing 0.9.x compatibility code also remains on the agenda.
