Which is exactly what is in doubt. From just a quick look:

- "audio": I plan to check this directory carefully at some point, as I am the
last person to mess with FreeCol's audio. If there are useful files here I
will put them into the main tree. Not looking hopeful when the modification
dates are from 2004.

- "conceptual": The original author took the time to write a README saying:

This repository is for source art, screencaptures, conceptual sketches,
and other working art files. Since these files can be rather large and
disorderly, they are kept here instead of in the production art
repository.

I am not prepared to argue with that.

- "graphics": Michael has commented on this.

- "movie": contains modified sources for and old version of the cortado module.

We distribute a cortado.jar which is used to play the opening video. IIRC
there was movement a few years back to push the mods upstream. Whether that
succeeded or not I do not know, however, I can confirm that if I delete the
cortado.jar packaged with freecol and use the current trunk cortado package
for my distro, the movie still works. So, nothing vital here.

- "website": Clearly not vital to FreeCol itself.

As we previously concluded: `historical interest only' is most probably a fair
summary.

Cheers,
Mike Pope
