Hi there, I believe that I was able to solve the minimap bug (bug #2506) and created a patch file. I'll attach the patch file in this email and post it on the SourceForge board.
Since this is my first time doing so, I believe that I may have some errors or issues in the patch so I apologize in advance if that is so. Thank you for your time in reviewing it.
