Beware that the REF is broken in trunk, and will be flakey for a bit while I fix a few things and add a bit of behavioural variability.
The most recent flaw was somewhat encouraging--- the REF was having trouble finding the colony to attack, which turned out to being due to a critical goal decider failing because the REF had not explored the map! I could have fixed this by just exploring the whole map for the REF, but thought this could be improved on, and just gave it the knowledge of those tiles explored by the rebel player that are either sea, coast, or claimed. In other words, the REF has access to the same naval charts as the rebel, and knows where its colonies and roads are, but does not have detailed knowledge of the hinterland. Cheers, Mike Pope
