I think, you may/should turn off this feature until you receive explicit requrest for this format and/or you get testbed (with 720k diskettes).
Although 720 KB (DD) diskettes are not sold anymore, you can easily simulate them if you cover the density hole of the 1.44 MB (HD) diskettes with an adhesive tape, as I already explained him ;-)
