        … And to unpack either of the archives you have to use WinRar,
        which is proprietary software under conditions of the WinRar
        EULA, right?  (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

        Well, not quite.  The Unarchiver claims [1] to support the Rar
        format, and, indeed, its unar(1) command-line counterpart (?)
        unpacks 6 files of 68 (as of blocek_1.36b.rar.)  Doesn't seem
        like a huge victory, though, but it may indicate that the use of
        the Rar format won't be an issue for the free software
        community.  Eventually, that is.
